Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TraderCap Technologies Private Limited ("TraderCap") processes your personal data as a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable rules.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, phone, password hash, country and city.
  • KYC data (funded traders): PAN, Aadhaar (masked) or passport, selfie or liveness check, bank account details.
  • Transaction data: purchases, invoices, GSTIN (if provided) and payout records. Card or UPI details are handled by our payment gateway and are not stored by us.
  • Platform data: orders, trades, positions and analytics within the simulation.
  • Technical data: IP address, device identifiers, browser, logs and cookies.

2. Why we use it

  • To provide the Platform, evaluate accounts and pay rewards (performance of contract).
  • To verify identity, prevent fraud and meet tax and legal obligations (legal obligation and legitimate use).
  • To send service messages and, with your consent, marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Sharing

We share data only with processors who help us operate, such as hosting, payment gateways, KYC vendors, email and analytics providers, under contracts that require confidentiality and security, and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

4. Retention

We keep data for as long as your account is active and afterwards as required by tax, accounting and anti-fraud laws (typically 8 years for financial records).

5. Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you and the Data Protection Board of a breach as required.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to legal@tradercap.in. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the Platform, and with your consent, analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser.
